Gene Simmons Finally Did The Deed!

Yesterday, Gene Simmons, bassist for the famous rock group KISS, finally said "I Do" to longtime girlfriend and mother of his two children, Shannon Tweed.  After being together for 28 years, they exchanged personal written vows in a ceremony on the crystal lawn at the Beverly Hills Hotel.  Four hundred guests cheered when Gene finally said the words and made it official.  Shannon wore an ivory gown and carried a bouquet of ivory antique roses.  At the reception, their 19 year old daughter sang probably the most appropriate song for their first dance together as husband and wife, 'At Last' by Etta James.  The wedding was taped and will appear on the October 18th episode of 'Gene Simmons - Family Jewels'.  Reportedly some of the guests that were in attendance was Hugh Hefner, Bill Maher, and his fellow band members.  Paul Stanley was in the wedding party and their daughter, Sophie, was maid of honor.
