Reports have surfaced today saying that Brazilian model Murilo Rezende, 21, was stabbed to death in the early hours of Tuesday morning. According to news site Folha, Murilo's body was found in a bedroom of an apartment in Sao Paulo.
The property belonged to Bozola Eugenio, 52, a systems analyst. He was also killed early Tuesday morning.
A cleaner discovered the bodies on Tuesday.
Police suspect a third person had killed them and fled with Mr. Eugenio's car, a Honda Civic that, at the time of writing, had not been found.
The bodies of the two men had sustained serious injuries before dying. There was evidence of a struggle in the apartment and there are many bloodstains throughout the property.
Murilo was crowned winner of the Mr. Piaui 2011 and was ranked sixth in this year's Mr. Brazil contest. He had modeled for labels such as Rufskin and had worked with photographer Rick Day.
