Good Morning Everyone!!

Good morning everyone!   I hope that your week is going well.  I am doing very well, sitting here with my huge cup of coffee!!   Some very dear friends of ours are getting married at the end of April, so they invited the hubby and I last night to go to have a "taste test" at the restaurant where they are having their reception.   OMG...I am still stuffed!!!   The shrimp crostini was to die for!!!   I am so happy for them and they are just glowing with excitement!   I love seeing that.  I spend every morning reading how we as a gay community fight tooth and nail for marriage equality and how it often seems like we take two steps forward only to take one step backwards.  I often loose the focus that even though it is about equality and having the right to that piece of paper saying that our love is just as valued and as recognized as yours...its still about love!  Having someone in your life who at the thought of not having them there brings you to your knees.  Love that makes you want to get up in the morning and wrap your arms around when it is time to go to sleep...that kind of love.  I saw that last night and it was a very good reminder.  I love my hubby and I need to remind him of that sometimes.  

LOL, anywho  I was going to spend today's post reminding and asking you to please like the blogs Facebook page and the changes that I have planned....but well love got in the way  :)   and that is GOOD!   I hope that you have an amazing day today and if you get the chance remind someone just how much you love them....it doesn't have to be a significant other.  it can be a relative, a friend or even the nice young gentleman who always makes sure to hold the elevator for ya when your running late.   Have a lovely day and  I love you guys!!!
