The 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has agreed to hear the appeal of Oklahoma’s same-sex marriage case on an expedited basis. In an order, the court also said the Oklahoma case would be assigned to the same panel of judges hearing an appeal from Utah. In both states, a federal judge struck down laws banning same-sex marriage.
The Utah and Oklahoma cases will be heard separately, according to the order, and not combined into one case.
