Gay Men's Chorus Dedicates Carol To Sandy Hook Victims

First, I want to apologize for not posting or commenting on the terrible and unthinkable violence that took place in Newton, Conneticut.  Honestly, I really don't know where I would begin and I believe that there is enough debate/rant happening on other social medias such as Facebook & Twitter.  Unfortunately with the hectic work schedule etc, I just haven't taken the time to sit down and really ponder it.  That was until I found this post below at Advocate.com.  During hard times or sad events that have occurred in my life, I have many, many times turned to music to find some answer, maybe some peace, or just maybe some self awareness.  I really don't think I could say it any better than this.  Warning ..... kleenex will be necessary!

The Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles dedicated a Christmas carol to the families of Newtown, Conn., where a gunman killed 26 people — 20 of whom were children at Sandy Hook Elementary School — last week.

The GMCLA was joined by 46 elementary school students from Creative Planet School of the Arts to perform "Peace On Earth/Little Drummer Boy," as made famous by David Bowie and Bing Crosby.

The December 15 performance was preceded by a message reading, "The Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles and students from the Creative Planet School of the Arts dedicate this performance to the families of Newtown, Connecticut and to those whose lives have been changed forever. Our hearts are with you. Let there be peace."

Watch the performance below. (only if you have your kleenex near .... trust me)
